We equip foster parents with the knowledge and skills they need to provide the best care possible. Our tailored training programs empower them to confidently support children and young people, even in the most challenging circumstances.
Mentoring for Young People
We have partnered with Unique Talent Youth Mentoring & Employment Organisation to enhance our bespoke packages of support for our Children and Foster Families. Through this we are also able to provide access to Enrichment Activities, Training and Support for our children and young people within our foster families.
Access to Enrichment Activities
This is via Unique Village's partnership with Unique Talent to support our children and young people to remain in education or to successful enroll in education and or training to aid their development and life skills needed to navigate society in a productive way.
Additional Support for Complex Placements
Additional Support for Complex Placements via regular supervision from the agency social worker, Qualified and experienced Mentor for the young person. Specialist training from Unique Village and access to Training from Unique Talent.
Regular Supervision for Foster Carers
Unique Village provides regular comprehensive training for Foster Families and their Support Carers.
24/7 Out-of-Hours Support
Fostering is not a 9-5 role and so we provide round the clock support for our carers as support for our children and you people has no time limit. There will be a Experienced social worker always on hand to offer guidance and support whenever needed.
